This project consisted of an 18 month, $24 million renovation that involved gutting the entire 5-story building originally built in the 1960s and transforming it into a state-of-the-art nursing education facility with advanced nursing simulation technologies. The project includes a 16,500 sq. ft. addition of new space on the first floor and the renovation of 55,000 sq. ft. of existing space with a complete mechanical, electrical and seismic upgrade. Spectrum Engineers used BIM to complete the electrical engineering and technology design for this complex renovation and upgrade. Spectrum participated in the electrical programming and consulting acoustical engineering services as well.
