Spectrum provided a feasibility analysis and design for ASU’s North Campus Satellite Central Plant, including a 5,000-ton chilled water plant, and the utilities for a 450,000 square foot, 1592-bed, seven-story engineering residence hall. The following utilities were included: chilled water, medium-voltage normal electrical service, medium-voltage emergency electrical service, steam service, domestic water/fire suppression, sanitary sewer, storm drainage/retention, fire alarm system network connectivity, and EIS and SCADA network connectivity. From the research done for the feasibility study Spectrum Engineers has been hired to design and project manage the construction of a 5,000-ton chilled water plant.
