The $18.6 million Scowcroft IRS project is the combination of a renovation of an
existing historic warehouse into 126,187 sq. ft. of first-class office space comprising
four above-ground floors totaling 100,739 sq. ft. and a 25,448 sq. ft. basement.
A new café restaurant building—the Junction City Café—was built on the Scowcroft
site as part of the project. Scowcroft includes open and private offices, training
and conference rooms, food service, a health unit and various storage spaces. The
IRS leases approximately 80,000 sq. ft. of office space. Spectrum provided electrical
engineering and lighting design, video surveillance, access control, sound masking/paging,
acoustical consultation and A/V design. Spectrum subsidiary Total Building Commissioning
(TBC) provided building and LEED® commissioning.
