In addition to specialized theatrical lighting and theatre rigging design, Spectrum
Engineers provided electrical, mechanical and acoustical engineering and exterior
and interior lighting, technology and plumbing design services for this 42,000 total
sq. ft., $6.5 million television broadcast ready arts center housing a 670-seat
performance hall, the 60-seat Brinton Black Box Theatre, a 1,300 sq. ft. secured
art gallery and three dance studios. The performance hall boasts a full theatrical
lighting system, 75-foot fly, seating arrangement with no seat further than 60 feet
from the stage, a covered orchestra pit and a 50-foot proscenium opening. The Center
houses additional art gallery space in two large lobbies, a full-service box office,
two dressing/green rooms and a large boardroom with kitchen facilities.
