Boise, Idaho
Spectrum Engineers designed the audio/video, sound, TV distribution and lighting
systems and provided acoustical engineering for this $8.9 million, 29,000 sq. ft.
expansion and remodel project. The expanded facility includes the main sanctuary,
the Emmaus Center (recreational hall), a daycare area and kindergarten facilities.
Remodeling this historic church required special care to protect the building's
rock cobblestone and sandstone exterior. Shaped like a cross ("cruciform" style),
the building is a modern adaptation of the traditional gothic cathedrals of Europe
and includes many beautifully wrought-stained glass windows.
