Beautiful and refined, the Health Sciences Education Building (HSEB) integrates stunning architecture with Spectrum-designed intuitive educational technology including A/V systems, advanced yet proven low-voltage infrastructure, energy-efficient and visually intriguing task and ambient lighting and well-coordinated electrical systems. Collaborating with the owner, users and design and construction teams, Spectrum Engineers provided electrical engineering and technology and lighting designs that accommodate different learning and teaching styles. Throughout the $40 million, 158,000 GSF HSEB are discussion nooks, lounges, a cafe, group meeting spaces and a range of instructional environments from small classrooms to lecture halls. Spectrum addressed the size and goals of each space, bringing human scale to this large facility.
