IMC is a 1.3 million sq. ft. flagship medical center situated on 110 acres and comprising five Centers of Excellence and support buildings: 15-floor Patient Tower (586,000 sq. ft.), eight-floor Heart and Lung Center (193,000 sq. ft.), eight-floor Outpatient Care Center (120,000 sq. ft.), four-floor Women and Newborn Center (190,000 sq. ft.), three-floor Cancer Center (48,000 sq. ft.), central utility plant, central laboratory and waste management facility. Spectrum Engineers provided electrical and acoustical engineering and designed power for essential systems; medium voltage distribution; site, exterior, interior and medical specialty lighting; structured cabling; fire alarm; nurse call; paging; card access; intrusion detection and TV distribution.
