Intermountain Healthcare Dixie Regional Medical Center River Road Campus

The new 350,000 sq. ft., $65 million Dixie Regional Medical Center (DRMC) replacement hospital and clinic provides advanced trauma services as well as sophisticated medical services, known as “tertiary care” to the Southern Utah and tri-state region. A 70,000 sq. ft. Medical Office Building (MOB) and the Health and Performance Center are also part of the campus. DRMC hospital supports 108 inpatient beds, 24 critical care beds and 12 outpatient beds; eight surgery rooms, a NICU, imaging unit (CAT, MRI, angiography, etc.); heart and lung center, advanced emergency/trauma services and a 52-foot-tall, three-floor emergency room building. Also included are: administrative offices, chapel, dining area and courtyards. Spectrum was involved in each of the campus facilities and provided programming and design of DRMC including designing medium voltage distribution, site lighting, interior power, lighting, fire alarm and special systems, structured cabling, nurse call, access control, card access, camera system, intrusion detection fire alarm, master TV, CCTV, background music, coordination of radio systems, audio/video, overhead paging, intercom and master clock.
