This 60,000 sq. ft., $20 million Alta View Specialty Center is located on the Alta View Hospital Campus. It includes operating rooms, endoscopy rooms, PACU, recovery, clinical space, preparation rooms and offices. The new facility includes a single story ambulatory surgery center designated for I-2 occupancy and a two-story medical office building with B-occupancy. The Specialty Center accommodates nearly any type of outpatient surgery and doubles the hospital’s capacity for most procedures, freeing up much-needed hospital space. One wing of the Specialty Center provides new clinic space, including specialty rooms for audiology and ophthalmology. The endoscopy rooms are large at 650 sq. ft. each and floor space is further maximized by mounting monitors, computer screens and other equipment on booms. Spectrum Engineers designed the lighting and power, voice/data cabling, TV distribution, nurse call, intercom, access control and CCTV systems.
