Summary:

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years’ experience training employees in Autodesk Revit for the A|E|C industries. As a Revit Trainer, you will assist new and current employees to develop a higher level of competency and skill set to help them be more efficient. This person needs to be someone who isn’t shy from holding people accountable to their future growth and knowledge.

 

Duties: Design the following,

  • Responsible for managing and implementing CAD and BIM standards
  • Develop BIM content
  • Hold group and individual training’s
  • Organize and catalog individual progress reports
  • Make progression plans for employees
  • Hold monthly meetings with Principal Engineers about the progress of their team members
  • Learn how Spectrum Engineers uses Revit to conduct business and find ways to be more proficient
  • Design effective training programs for future use

 

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ experience using Revit MEP

◦     Project setup.

◦     Understand creating/modifying Schedules & Master Shared Parameter Files

◦     Manually Add Shared Parameters to Family

◦     Use of Filters in views and schedules

◦     Create and Modify Details

◦     General Notes

◦     Create and Modify Views and Sheets

◦     Use/create/modify View Templates

◦     Master/Project Key Notes

◦     Create and Modify Families

◦     Work-sets

  • Good communication skills and enjoys working with people
  • Previous experience in training employees is a plus
  • Proficient in MS Office Suites (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Proficient in Bluebeam Revu and Studio
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
